Sitting here today I got to thinking about the things that are going on or have happened in the past 24 hours. Lets start out with the good. The Schuyler Rams basketball team is on track to play at Hannibal on Saturday to try to continue to the state semi finals in class 3A. The rain we got last night has settled the ground a bit compared to the muddy mess it has been. Erin is doing great after her treatment this morning. Kayla may be coming to dinner with us tonight. Austin will be home for Spring break this weekend. And I am feeling better FINALLY!
Now for the not so good. The driveway is a muddy mess and in desperate need of a week of dry warm weather. Soybeans have been tanking all day, as of right now down 25 cents. Livestock in the area have been fighting the mud and from what I have heard from guys in the area, cattle are getting pretty run down. And lastly, there is a chance of rain for the next few days and the creeks and rivers are on the rise. I hope Holly and Logan are staying out of the water up in Eddyville. Last night they had Flood warnings and advisories for them up there.
Hope the weather gets nicer and Congratulations to the Schuyler Rams and their win last night.
Look at you, Mr. One Post a Day. I'm glad you're feeling better too! <3 you!
